Many have asked me the name of the midi on my site.
I looked for a very long time to find something to reflect
the way I felt at the time. It was right after my
husband passed away. I really don't know the actual words
to the song if there are any but I've written
my own poem as I listened to it.

Almost a Whisper
(name of midi)

The first I hear are whispers of Angel wings fluttering near by...
You and I just waiting for our very last goodbye.
Angels are near my love and you must reach out your hand.
They will take you to the glorious and beautiful promised land!

Here they come my dear I feel them near our side.
If you're too weak to reach they will reach out and abide.
I see them reaching for your hand and I know it just must be.
That you will soon be in a world that no longer includes me.

Oh no I can't! I can't! I grab your hand and hold on tight.
Hoping the Angels will let go of you and make it all right.
A sudden warmth goes over me, that I really can't explain.
My grip on you loosens and your soul goes, freeing you from pain.

Your body laying lifeless with an innocent childlike smile on your face.
I feel the presence of the Angels almost a whisper in their pace.
You wave your hand at me as if to say "goodbye.
I'll see you soon so please don't you cry."

I stand alone with the sound of wings Almost a Whisper in my ear.
I know that I must go on like you asked and persevere.
My heart is oh so empty and without you what are my ways?
The sound of Angel wings will remain Almost a Whisper all my days.

I Never Lost So Much

I never lost so much as when I lost you.
One day you were here and there were two.
Your name was called and you departed.
I thought our life together had only started.

Remembering when we were two hearts in love.
Our souls touched with guidance from above.
I remember your touch and gentle embrace,
And the shining smile always on your face.

You encouraged me to be all that I desired.
You cherished me and never grew tired.
You gave me your all in every way.
I think of you and miss you every single day.

We will be together again very soon.
I’ll jump over the rainbow and over the moon.
In the Kingdom of God we will frolic and play.
We will be together again some wonderful day.

I WISH I COULD GROW WINGS

I wish I could grow wings like an Angel so true.
I would fly to you when you are feeling down and blue.
I would circle all around you from up above.
To show you my open heart and my love.

I wish I could grow wings and fly up high.
I would bring you bright stars from the sky.
I wish I could grow wings fluffy and white.
I would fly down and hug you in the night.

I can't grow wings for you my friend,
So just remember I'll love you until the end.
